Ted was hired by the parents of a four year-old boy who tragically passed away at public swimming pool during a private party due to insufficient staffing.
Ted’s client and their children went to the public pool for a private party where they were set at tables at the end of the pool. After swimming for a little over an hour and a half there was to be hot dogs and pizza the little boy ate a hot dog as they were available first then told his mother he was going to get a drink which was about eight tables from where she was. Moments later she looked up and saw his life jacket on the ground then someone said there was a baby floating at the edge of the pool, but there weren’t any lifeguards present. CPR was started and an AED machine was brought out and utilized while EMS arrived and transported the child to the ER where he was pronounced deceased.
Ted and his team were able to settle during Mediation for $1,000,000.00 avoiding a lengthy and painful trial.
Total Recovery: $1,000,000.00
